Advanced Practitioner Qualification (APtCI)

The Advanced Practitioner  is a new recognition level for those who already have obtained the tCI Certificate of Professional Development (CPD).

It is intended to acknowledge further training and development and for the first time involves the submission and peer review of a Practitioner Paper.

How to qualify

 To obtain 80 additional credits from tCI training courses or events:-

   You must attend the Law of Consultation training course (30 credits)
 
   You are recommended to attend at least one of the Institute’s courses on Social
  Media in consultation and engagement

   Alternatively you can assemble the other 50 credits from any other courses or
  events

   You are automatically credited for anything you have attended since Jan 1st 2012
  or since achieving your CPD (whichever is the later date) or any of the
  Institute’s CPD updating courses

You must also

 Submit a Practitioner Paper on one of five set subjects with the aim of demonstrating your professional skils and knowledge

   The paper will be 3,000 – 5,000 words approximately

   There will be a telephone interview to discuss content and conclusions

   The paper will be published on the tCI knowledgebase
