Davy has worked as a consultant since 2007. His main areas of expertise are public engagement, participatory budgeting, Local Strategic Partnerships and place shaping, Local Area Agreements and performance management – and how each of these areas fit together in the new policy context for local public services.
Prior to this, Davy worked for over eight years for the Audit Commission on several key areas concerning policy for Local Authorities – including national performance indicators for local councils, leading on the widely acclaimed Area Profiles project and most recently, he led the public engagement and reporting work stream in the development of Comprehensive Area Assessment.
