Compliance Assessment
Compliance Assessment Service
This is designed for high-profile consultations where an external assurance of its quality can make a difference to its response-profile and to its credibility
Each Assessment is individually tailored to the specific circumstances of the exercise, but typically includes some or all of the following checkpoints, at which the Institute will satisfy itself that best practice is being observed:-
- Scoping when the basics of the consultation are agreed
- Planning when the project plan is devised and implemented
- Commencement at the start of the dialogue period
- Mid-point review to assess whether all relevant views are being collected
- Closing date to finalise plans for analysis, feedback and to influence the outcome
- Final Report to confirm the Institute’s endorsement of the consultation
Clients for this in-flight assessment can use the Charter compliance logo and promote their conformance for as long as the Institute’s Assessor agrees. For contentious issues, this can be an important guarantor of process integrity and soundness
To apply Best Practice Principles, Institute Assessors make use of the Consultation Charter
