Partner Recognition
Partner Recognition Scheme
The purpose of this Scheme is to distinguish between those consultancies and suppliers who are known to the Institute and those that are not!
In a market where there are literally hundreds of Companies which claim to be proficient in consultation and public engagement, Institute members are increasingly asking for guidance on who is and who is not truly experienced in these matters. This scheme will give that guidance.
There are two levels:-
A Registered Partner
Member consultancies or suppliers have to make a commitment to the Consultation Charter, and provide sufficient information to enable the Institute to provide basic data in response to enquiries. They also must employ at least one current holder of the Certificate of Professional Development (CPD).
A Practitioner Partner
For this level, the Institute is able to endorse a Member consultancy or supplier and confirm that it can deliver best practice services.
To become a Practitioner Partner, consultancies or suppliers must fulfil the requirements for becoming a Registered Practitioner as well as undergo an audit of key processes. Practitioners Partners are subject to an Annual Review of relevant public engagement/consultation activities and submit two projects per annum for peer-review, with details published on the Institute website.
