The themes explored include:-
• Neighbourhood dynamics
• Local referendums & associated popular campaigns
• The new 'right-to-buy' community assets
• New local authority powers over public health and crime & police

Suitable for officers from all local service providers and elected members.

Registration 09:30
Course starts 09:45
Course ends 16:00

Attendance at this course gives 40 credits towards the Institute's Certificate of Professional Development

To help participants absorb the key issues, this Course uses a realistic end-to-end Consultation Simulation, with eight short exercises at various stages of the agenda and designed to highlight specific learning points.

This complements presentations and Group discussions and provides an opportunity to think through practical application of key issues.
