The Institute has operated in Wales for over 3 years, having run over 15 training courses and held a large number of seminars, workshops and specialist events on subjects including Consultation with Children & Young People, Consultation with the Older Generations, Engaging the Hard-to-Reach  and Consultation & the Media.

Members who have used the Institute for specific assignments and for training are, among others:-

• BBC Trust (Wales)

• Denbighshire County Council

• Wrexham Borough Council

• Cardiff City Council

• Cardiff City Harbour Board

• Welsh Association of Community Health Councils

    

The Institute’s Founder and Programme Director, Rhion Jones is a Welsh-speaker and is able to represent the organisation bilingually.
