Andy is an experienced insight practitioner, with more than twenty years’ experience in the public sector. Andy has spent many years working in the areas of health and social care as well as economic, skills, and community and enterprise development. He began his career in the private sector with specific expertise in business analysis and organisational change. Andy’s career in the public sector includes direct responsibility for large scale public engagement and community consultation and development programmes, mainstream workforce development and skills programmes as well as managing multi-million pound programmes. Andy is also a Director of a local Development Trust with a passion for community engagement and activism.
Andy has specific expertise in insight and engagement with so called hard to reach groups, as well as broader consultations, feasibility studies, evaluation, facilitation and business planning. He has worked with a diverse range of organisations and stakeholders delivering assignments within social inclusion, skills and education, public health, lifelong learning and economic and social renewal. Andy is also an expert in digital engagement, drawing on his experience in systems development, public engagement and insight. Andy also specialises in branding studies focused on social value based on collaborative work with colleagues focused on commercial and leisure sector offerings.
