Dave Chetwyn

Dave Chetwyn MA, MRTPI, IHBC, FInstLM, FRSA is Managing Director of Urban Vision Enterprise CIC and a partner in D2H Land Planning Development. He is also a High Streets Task Force Expert, Chair of the board of the National Planning Forum and a Design Council Built Environment Expert (BEE).

Previous roles include: Head of Planning Aid England, Chair of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation, Chair of the Historic Towns Forum, and a team leader and other roles in local Government.

Dave is author of the Locality Neighbourhood Planning Roadmap Guide and other Locality guidance on planning and community-led development. In addition, he authored part of BS7913.

Dave has advised and participated in various Government stakeholder groups, reviews and parliamentary select committees on planning, regeneration, heritage, urban design, economic development, state aid and community engagement.

Dave’s Interests include: music, electric guitars, collecting original art, photography, reading (political and music autobiographies) and generally being sociable!
