Fraser Henderson

Institute Associate Profile

Fraser is an expert in the evaluation and use of participatory technologies gained from six years’ experience at various European consumer electronic laboratories. He also holds a degree in Acoustics and is familiar with all aspects of this discipline.  A qualified project manager, Fraser led the UK Local eDemocracy National Project trials from 2003 and was appointed as manager of the International Centre of Excellence for Local eDemocracy in 2006.  Fraser also helped develop the policy support materials for the UK ePetition legislation.

Fraser has been involved in a number of European eParticipation projects, is a founding member of Pan-European eParticipation network and UK cluster manager for the EuroPetition project.  More recently Fraser has been involved in establishing a number of digital technology hubs around coastal Lincolnshire.

Fraser is a keen swimmer and cyclist but when it’s raining he likes to dabble in a small recording studio that he built on the back of his passion for music and electronica. Otherwise, you will find Fraser at various parks and farms entertaining his young children and enjoying life’s alternative swings and roundabouts.
