Jacqueline Robinson

Institute Associate Profile

Jackie has worked for over 30 years’ experience in health and social care, working in the NHS, Social Care, Third Sector, Community, and joint LA/NHS Regeneration. Working with patients and the public throughout her career which has included being a community mental health practitioner, working in health and social care project/programme management, leading on numerous public health initiatives and undertaking Health Impact Assessments on major scale changes and the impact on communities. Also worked as a Senior Health Commissioner, leading commissioning in England’s 8th and 13th most deprived wards. Jackie has expertise in commissioning; drugs and alcohol, smoking cessation, teenage pregnancy, capital build programmes, community nursing, social care, occupational therapy, sport development, food and nutrition.

Working as a senior Management for 14 years, Jackie has worked as Head of Stakeholder engagement at PCT level, and a regional level. She has also worked nationally, providing training on behalf of NHS England on good practice in stakeholder engagement, legal and statutory duties, and worked extensively with the community and voluntary sector across the North of England.  Jackie has written every Merseyside CCG Engagement Strategy and also successfully led 5 major service reconfigurations across Cheshire and Merseyside (Learning Disability Mental Health, Vascular Services, Cancer, Forensic Mental Health Services). Jackie has been winning awards for her work for over a decade at a national and regional level and was also a national commissioning board assessor for the authorisation of CCGs and is also a judge for the PENNA Patient Experience Network National Awards.

Jackie has been involved with tCI for many years having undertaken and benefitted from training and the excellent networks the Institute provides. An extensive work experience, key areas of work would be with the health and social care sector as well as housing renewal and regeneration on stakeholder engagement strategies.

On a personal level, Jackie is a proud mother of two teenagers and her interests are very family focussed. She enjoys spending time on weekends and holidays with her family and travelling to places of interest across the country for day trips and also holidays abroad. Jackie is known to be a bit adventurous and has sky dived 14,000 feet, goes skiing (though not very well) and she also has a great love of theatre and musicals.
