All of our e-learning courses reward credits towards tCi's Certificate of Professional Development scheme. A maximum of 40 credits can be applied from e-learning.
The CPD is only eligible to members of the Institute. However, all credits are recorded so Non-members wishing to obtain the CPD would need to purchase membership to convert course credits inro a CPD.
Having knowledge or experience of consultation will be an advantage but these courses have been designed to suit people new to the world of consultation.
Each course varies in duration. On the introduction page to each course, an approximate duration will be outlined.
tCI Courses are split in to modules. These modules are made up of a number of chapters. The chapters have been purposely designed to be taken in chronological order.
You won’t be able to skip to a module or chapter without completing any that precede it.
Once the voice-over or video content has finished, a ‘next’ button will appear and allow you to continue.
A previous will always be present should you wish to take a step back.
Yes, though it’s important to remember that progress is only saved at the end of each chapter. At the end of a chapter, you will see a button labelled ‘mark chapter as complete’ By clicking here, your progress will be saved, and you’ll be safe to exit.
No, you must complete chapters to save progress. If you exit mid-chapter, you will have to start the chapter again when you return.
Yes, you can do this at any point.
Each course is made up of several short assessments to test your understanding.

Yes, if you don’t achieve the pass mark, you will be given the opportunity to re-take the test.
As long as you need. Your progress will never be lost or expire.
Our courses will never be removed. However, in the interest of ensuring the information remains relevant and up-to-date, we may occasionally update the course content.
Each user has an e-learning log which is accessible from the e-learning courses page. This dashboard allows you to view all the courses you have enrolled on, and the the certificates/points you've earned.
Yes, you will receive an e-certificate shortly after completion of the course. You can save certificates as a PDF or print them. All of your certificates are available to view/download in the e-learning log area of your account.
