The Consultation Institute proudly announces the promotion of Karen Fourie to the position of Commercial Director. 

Karen has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of our industry. In her previous role as Senior Account Manager, Karen played a key role in diversifying our business model, while expanding our products and services to a broader cross section of clients; showcasing her ability to drive growth and foster valuable clients relationships.   

As Commercial Director, Karen will lead our commercial strategy, overseeing key business development initiatives, while driving revenue growth. Karen brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to this role, and we have full confidence in her ability to excel in this new capacity.

A note from our new Commercial Director

This accomplishment holds special significance for me, considering that I relocated to Bedfordshire from the North East in 2007 without a clear vision of what lay ahead after spending 17 years working as an Account Manager in the Oil and Gas Industry. Initially taking on a part-time role at the Consultation Institute, I quickly recognised the potential to make a meaningful difference. The past 18 months have been transformative, with the added achievement of obtaining accreditation as a Resilient Leaders Consultant in 2023. It is particularly exciting as it supports the delivery of Phase 2 of the Leadership Development Programme in collaboration with Venture Coaching for tCI’s Core Team.

My confidence and self-belief have soared, proving the incredible impact of having the right people around you. I’m thrilled to lead our talented team in this new role, marking a significant milestone in my journey since 2007. The promotion is a testament to the Institute’s recognition of my dedication and contributions over the last 16+ years. I’m super excited about advancing the Consultation Institute’s esteemed reputation for delivering top-tier training, consultancy, eLearning, video production and leadership services!
