Four months to go and consultation system provider, Tractivity, has published a really helpful paper on the GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION – courtesy of top legal firm, Mills & Reeve.
This is really useful for public engagement teams still getting their heads around the implications for public consultations.
If anything, the paper under-states the problems, but the good news is that the Guidance the Institute expects to publish this Spring, plus the availability of compliant IT tools like Tractivity, ought to help members and supporters work through the changes.
This is a timely contribution to the debate and is a must-read for anyone organising public consultation.
