The consultation, which runs until 31 May, calls on the public to respond to the London Assembly’s Culture and Night Time Economy Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) document.
The results will be used to help inform existing and future policies, including the SPG. Take part.
The night-time economy brings £26.3bn to London’s economy every year and employs one in eight people in the city.
Adam Cooper, from City Hall’s Culture Team, said: ‘We now have a huge opportunity to make London’s night time economy and culture an even richer proposition.
‘But there are challenges to harnessing the full benefits of this part of our economy. We must work with local authorities, residents, revellers, police and local businesses. A balanced approach is the key to our success.
‘This SPG sets out the Mayor’s preferred approach and Local Planning Authorities are strongly encouraged to follow this approach.’
