The Institute’s ever-popular virtual coffee morning, The Perfect Blend, is back this month for a session discussing the importance of engaging with young people.
Many of us undertaking public engagement and consultation will know that getting young people energised to become involved can be difficult.
Interacting and engaging young people is not a process limited to public bodies, it is equally important for different sector-based organisations, such as aviation, energy, engineering, transportation or chemical industries, to engage with younger people and the wider community – otherwise, there will certainly be more legal challenges on the horizon.
From expanding your engagement techniques, ensuring easy accessibility, and using social media for participation, we want to hear your experiences and challenges with engaging young people. Attendees are encouraged to share their thoughts, including actions, techniques and methods they typically deploy.
Pick up a brew, grab a biscuit, and join the conversation by registering your place here.
