In memory of Keith McCallum, 1961 – 2023
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our tCI colleague and friend, Keith McCallum, who passed away on Christmas Eve, following a stoic battle with cancer.
Keith joined the Institute in January 2016 with a principal brief to look after the financial side of the business. It is a measure of his unique contribution to the Institute that he progressed from company accountant to the man who conscientiously led the entire business through the Covid-19 pandemic. Keith’s contribution was recognised in June 2022 when he was made a Fellow of the Consultation Institute.
He succeeded largely by developing and maintaining a great relationship both with the team and the wider associate community. He had the priceless gift of being able to talk with anyone, while inspiring confidence to boot. Many of our members, clients, colleagues, and our Board saw Keith as a friend, not just a business colleague. We will all miss him dearly.
Keith was a man of great courage, facing illness with fortitude. He never complained, and even during times of relentless treatment, he continued to provide advice with a calm air and wicked sense of humour.
Keith is survived by his wife, Linda, and three daughters. We send them deepest condolences at the loss of a remarkable man.
