Since 2011 public bodies have experienced austerity, reorganisation and rationalisation. For most this has meant that engagement teams have been reduced, even decimated. Meanwhile the duties to consult have not changed, leaving a bigger ask for practitioners and/or reliance on others to ‘make do’.
When you have smaller numbers, you have to think differently.
Do More with Less explores how you can achieve more by taking smarter approaches, helping you cope with less human resource.
Participants will explore new approaches to planning and delivery, thinking further ahead, use of AI and digital means, use of and working with third parties, better identification of where and how to engage and innovation. They will learn about what has succeeded for others in changing their approach.
