Surveys and Questionnaires must be informed by understanding the audience; they must sit in the world of the respondent, not in the world of the person writing them.
They cannot and should not be seen as a quick and easy option for gathering data; the questions need to be carefully planned and researched for. This course covers the basics of survey and questionnaire design. Topics include:
- Hard-copy vs Online
- Question types
- Wording, clarity, and language
- Scales and rating/ranking
- Filter questions
Duration: Approximately 30 minutes.
