Devolution case study video: York & North Yorkshire Councils’ public consultation
As part of a wider project with York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Group, the Institute was commissioned to produce a video focused on York and North Yorkshire Councils’ public consultation for devolution.
The video aims to advise the Councils’ communities about the scheme for York and North Yorkshire devolution, empowering them to provide an informed response to the consultation. The video explores what devolution is, how the scheme would change local governance arrangements across the boroughs, and finally, encourages the community to have their say on the key elements under consultation.
The eight-week public consultation runs between October and December 2022, and you can view the full video we produced by visiting www.ynydevolution.com
